Hotel Royal Singi

Fantastic hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights ahead of an Exodus trip, and it couldn't have been better. Very comfortable, clean, and excellent breakfast - different offerings each morning. Staff are superb and always give excellent service. Great location, only 15 minute walk away from the cafes, restaurants, bars and shops in Thamel. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend to others.

When we were picked up from the airport by one of Royal Singi Hotel’s drivers, we knew we had made the right decision for our 1-week stay in Kathmandu. He navigated us through the hordes of taxi drivers fighting for passengers and managed to fit all of our luggage in the back of the van. He drove as smoothly as he could – the unruly roads in the city have plenty of potholes, but he managed to avoid them and the traffic easily. Without much traffic in the evening, the drive to Royal Singi Hotel from the airport was only about 15 minutes.

It’s really the service at Royal Singi Hotel that sets it apart from many hotels in Kathmandu. The team went out of their way to make our stay special. For example:
1) By the third day, the wait staff at BLVD had memorised our breakfast coffee orders
2) One of their reception team stood in for a no-show tour guide to Pashupati Temple and explained the evening fire ceremony to us (which lasted about an hour)
3) Even the chef at the egg station during breakfast had prepped spinach from scratch when they had run out for a made-to-order masala omelette when one of our party couldn’t eat anything else.

Another perk to staying at Royal Singi Hotel is its prime location in the city. Being only a few blocks away from the Durbar Marg and Thamel, we were just a quick walk to some of Kathmandu’s must-see sights and party scene. And a little further away we easily reached Asan, Indra Chowk and Durbar Square.

The décor in the lobby is grand with dark wood accents, marble floors and chandeliers. Meanwhile, the rooms share the same dark wood accents as the lobby and are equipped with the essentials. There were a few welcome surprises like the walk-in rain shower and bidet, which are much needed after spending your day exploring the city.

Must-haves at the breakfast buffet are the masala chai and the other local dishes that rotate in their selection. They’re flavourful and really woke our senses up even if we hadn’t had a lot of sleep the night before. The assortment also includes western mainstays like bacon, sausage and grilled tomatoes if you’re looking for something more familiar.

All in all, we’d recommend anyone to stay at Royal Singi Hotel, and we’ll definitely go there again on our next trip to Kathmandu.

Royal Singi is Good Property which is located in the center of kathmandu, Kingsway is walk away from the Hotel. The staff is friendly and Professional. View from the room is really awesome as you see mountains, At 10 m there’s Mall and Multiplex, Kathmandu’s best Momos Is just step away from the hotel entrance. Like the word ROYAL the rooms are Royal enough! Restaurant is ultra modern with really nice ambience and food spread. Food quality is of top notch. One must consider Hotel Royal Singi for their stay in Kathmandu

The staff are polite and responsive. The hotel location is fantastic. Besides that the hotel could do more by fixing their AC system and also ensuring some basic amenties in the room are provided for. I find myself calling the reception for every minor thing which is now getting embarrassing. Without an effective AC it is difficult to breathe in the room and I have been waking up in sweats

We have out corporate parties here and i have always liked their food, especually their chinese /oriental dishes also other dishes like Shesh kabab was too good. Forgot to take photos this time, i enjoyed it with fresh iceberg lettuce salad which paired well together.

The hotel is good with proper 3 star facilities, excellent location, friendly staff except for one events manager called Poonam Thapa, who is one unprofessional and rude lady. Will stay here but not organise an
event with her.

It would have been a much better stay if they hadn’t locked me out of my own room at the end of my stay that too, just an hour before I had to leave for the airport. Luckily, I had packed my bags before going down for breakfast, otherwise I could have possibly missed my flight due to this incompetence.

Room could be better as the lighting was too dark, the dimmers didn’t work, the curtains weren’t thick enough, the master switch didn’t work and they had a weird and dated socket and no bedside socket in my friend’s room.

Breakfast was decent and the service was good. Staff was very helpful too, especially Aishwarya from the front desk. The room service is 24hr which can be great.

At 1st I’m an student from Texas college of management and IT. For our assignment that was given by our prof. We went there for our feild visit without any mentor and the hospitality they served to us was so good and our question&answer section was fabulous. They literally gave us chance to visit their premises went to their lobby, room, restaurant, ballroom and different meeting hall also their main kitchen. We were total of 20student and they didn’t knew that so many number of student will be there vanayera but also they were dealing so clamly and prefectly. Overall the experience were so prefect and as for staff attitude and the way they talk it was more perfect than the 5star hotel

Royal Singi is a nice hotel located in the center of kathmandu, the staff is friendly and the environment cuts you off from the Hussle and bussle of the city crowd. I had attended an event at one of their conference hall which was pretty comfortable and easy. Highly recommended for small workshop and events.

Our bag with few belongings was lost from mandala Ballroom. This is serious matter. I don't know why staff over the desk did not address the problem seriously. I understand there was a function going on but there is cc camera installed but what is the function of it when they cannot solve the issues

Rightly located just in the heart of town will perfect decor n nice ambience. Recommended!

The service is so slow and unprofessional I've stayed in multiple hotels all over nepal but the experience I got here was worst than any other hotels.
We informed them earlier during the day time so that they could help us with some changes in our room and the female receptionist even promised that it would be done and when we checked later this afternoon we didn't even have a room to sleep and other receptionist named susil was so rude that when I asked him if I can get a room he said go check the room yourself and if not that we will figure it out tomorrow. Worst experience ever never coming back here again

Nice and value for money place. The staff is very helpful and they serve a good breakfast.

Have really soothing environment and decorated really nicely. Proper parking area, proper spacing outdoors and indoors.

I was put up in this hotel by an airline due to cancelled flight absolutely nothing negative here, I am not aware of prices per room wish i could have stayed longer but that is a hotel for my next visit
